The Street will be closed from 10.00 until 18.00 from the F&G pub (which will be open as normal) to St Mary’s Church. Each end will be blocked for vehicles to allow for the street party.
The picnic is intended for Greywell residents and guests. We would ask all participants to book their attendance (at no charge) so that we can get a sense of how many people are likely to attend. The village hall will set up at least 8 tables in a line in front of the village hall which will be available on a first come first served basis to hire for £10 per table (proceeds going to charity). Once these are filled you will need to provide your own table. These tables will be suitable for 6 people. We will look to establish a table plan so that we can be as inclusive as possible whilst ensuring families and friends are together. Please note that chairs will not be provided and so you will need to bring your own.
All participants will need to bring their own picnic including food, drink, cutlery , crockery, unbreakable glasses and chairs.
We invite everyone to decorate their own table and there will be a prize for the best dressed table.
The timetable is to have pre lunch drinks at 12.00 with lunch starting at 12.30pm. If we can all start at broadly the same time it will make the occasion more fun.
Please book your attendance and tables (as necessary) via the following links on ticketsource…
