Councillor John Kennett is the member representing Greywell on Hart District Council. The official name of the electoral Ward is 'Long Sutton' and it comprises the villages of Greywell, Long Sutton and South Warnborough together with RAF Odiham.
John has been our District Councillor since 2008 and was re-elected in 2010 and then served as Vice Chairman in 2010-11 and Chairman of the Council in 2011-12 after being elected by his fellow councillors. His current term lasts until May 2014. He is currently Cabinet member for Community Safety and Licensing and is the District Council's delegate on the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel, which works with the newly elected Commissioner.
John and Harriet have lived in South Warnborough since returning from the US in 2002 and both play an active part in village affairs.
